E-wallet transfers in Jordan hit JD3.56b in first seven months of 2025
In July alone, transfers totaled JD588 million, up 12.1% from June’s JD525 million, while the number of transactions rose 14.6% to 9.15 million. By the end of July, Jordan had 2.63 million electronic wallet users, a slight 1.5% decrease from June, with Jordanians representing 87.8% (about 2.31 million) and non-Jordanians 12.2% (roughly 320,000).
JoPACC noted that money transfers dominate wallet activity, accounting for 88.8% of all transactions, followed by purchases at 7.8%, cash withdrawals at 2%, and deposits at 1.4%.
