E-wallet transfers in Jordan hit JD3.56b in first seven months of 2025

(MENAFN) Electronic wallet transfers in Jordan reached approximately JD3.56 billion from January to July 2025, conducted over 51.94 million transactions, the Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company (JoPACC) reported.

In July alone, transfers totaled JD588 million, up 12.1% from June’s JD525 million, while the number of transactions rose 14.6% to 9.15 million. By the end of July, Jordan had 2.63 million electronic wallet users, a slight 1.5% decrease from June, with Jordanians representing 87.8% (about 2.31 million) and non-Jordanians 12.2% (roughly 320,000).

JoPACC noted that money transfers dominate wallet activity, accounting for 88.8% of all transactions, followed by purchases at 7.8%, cash withdrawals at 2%, and deposits at 1.4%.
